Livestock Sales Terms and Policies

Josha livestock strives to produce healthy animals, we cannot however guarantee their health after they have left our premises and are out of our care. We require a NON REFUNDABLE deposit of half of the purchase price to hold an animal already on the ground and a $50.00 deposit on kids yet to be born. The deposit will hold an animal until the time agreed upon by both Josha Livestock and the buyer. If the buyer is unable to pick up the animal at the time specified, Josha Livestock will add a boarding fee of $1.00 a day (for up to 30 days) to the remaining balance due on the animal, which will be paid in full before the animal is released to the buyer. If the buyer has not picked up the animal within the 30 days they will forfeit the deposit and Josha Livestock will retain the animal or offer it again for sale to another buyer. If a kid of the chosen sex is not born out of the chosen doe the buyer has placed a deposit on, the buyer will be given a choice of options, A) a different but comparable kid of Josha Livestocks' choosing if one is available, or B) the $50.00 deposit will be returned. This is the only reason in which a deposit will be returned.
